Our Favorites … so far
Periodically, we’ll highlight one of Rainy’s best photos along with the story involved in its capture.
Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park is a magical place. It combines two of our favorite photo subjects – bears and waterfalls. In order to get the silky flowing water, you need to keep your shutter open longer than usual. But the risk is you’ll shake or your subject will move and become blurry. Rainy hand held her camera and the bear cooperated nicely for this shot. What a beauty!
