Recommendations
Don’t miss: Get out on the water! Ellsworth Rock Garden is unique. And try to get to Kettle Falls. Don’t forget bug spray.
When to visit: Spring – Fall. Summer is more crowded for sure, but likely less rain.
How long to stay: 2-3 days for the park, but a week with family at one of the lakefront resorts would be relaxing.

Thank goodness for the National Parks. Otherwise places like Voyageurs would be overdeveloped and most of the charm and wildlife would be lost. Check out our best photos to see this area’s natural beauty.
