Don’t miss: Sunset at Lake McDonald, driving Going to the Sun Road, hiking around Logan Pass (and everything there), hike to glacier fed Avalanche Lake, and baked goods at Polebridge Mercantile. Plus, visit Many Glacier and Two Medicine on the east side (closed during our visit).
When to visit: Any time you can. Going to the Sun Road usually opens by June – check their website for openings.
How long to stay: At least a week, more if you can. Camp inside the park and start your days early to beat the crowds.
Definitely check out the Photo Gallery of our best pictures.
