Where is Mt Rainier: Northern Washington, about 100 miles southeast of Seattle
Recommendations
Don’t miss: Paradise (that’s literally the name of the area) for hikes, waterfalls, flowers, and great mountain views. Reflection lakes and Snow lake (hike) for great photos. So much more too.
When to visit: Any time you can, but the roads (especially to Sunrsise) are typically closed into June.
How long to stay: At least 2 days in Paradise area, then additional time as close to Sunrise as you can get.
