Don’t miss: General Sherman tree, the largest tree on the planet, General Grant tree (almost as big), Moro Rock, and the Congress Trail. Crystal Cave was closed during our visit, but that looks cool too. If you’re adventurous, drive to remote Kings Canyon,
When to visit: Spring/Fall are best for lighter crowds and better weather.
How long to stay: You should take at least 3-4 days to do both parks.
Definitely check out the Photo Gallery of our best pictures.

The scale of the Giant Sequoias is hard to capture with a photo, but it helps. There is plenty of variety in the two parks with great mountain views and tall waterfalls.
