Recommendations
Don’t miss: Rather don’t forget your strongest bug spray. Be sure to visit Shark Valley and also find your way down to Flamingo. The alligators and crocs are cool, but take notice of the variety of birds in this park.
When to visit: November-April is “dry season,” so that’s preferred, plus it’s notably cooler than the oppressive summer. And when it’s wet, the bugs rule.
How long to stay: You’ll need 2-3 days to take in multiple areas. If you’re in an RV, make sure you get electrical hookups to run the A/C.
