Don’t miss: The flight to get here through Lake Clark Pass alone is amazing. Visit Twin Lakes and see Dick Proenneke’s cabin. Hike from Port Alsworth to spectacular Tanalian Falls. Take a break at the Farm Lodge and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Lake Clark.
When to visit: Really only easily accessible late spring through summer.
How long to stay: If you’re making the effort to go, stay at least 2-3 nights in the lodge and do 1-2 fly tours.
